Jerel Ehlert has been active in Texas real estate since 2000, first as an investor, then as a Texas licensed attorney (TBN 24089000). After graduating Waller High School, he enlisted in the US Navy as an electrician in the nuclear propulsin field. Upon an honorable discharge, he briefly studied CAD design before transferring to the University of Houston. Jerel then spent the next 10 years as a real esate investor. After the first crash, he went back to Informatin Technology before matriculating to South Texas College of Law. He has been licensed since 2015.

The place for understanding Texas law
QED Training has been a passion of Jerel’s since law school. Throughout his studies, he frequently encountered cases and legal principles that could directly benefit real estate investors. Inspired by this, he made it a personal mission to share that knowledge with as many people as possible—helping others improve their lives and avoid unnecessary legal pitfalls. Jerel formed QED Training as the platform to share his experience and education with people who need it most.

Starting with the first course, “Texas Residential Landlord-Tenant Law”, QED provides training and education on a variety of topics, including more general real estate law, business law, commercial law, probate, and estate planning. These courses offer detailed explanations of the law, with timelines, forms, checklists, and collected information hard to find outside law school - broken down to everyday language.
